In a standard 50-minute session, a lot of our time is spent opening and closing — checking in, orienting, and wrapping up safely before you walk back into your day. The deep work happens in the middle, and often there isn't enough of it.
An IFS-informed EMDR intensive changes that ratio dramatically. With a dedicated three-hour block, we move past the warm-up quickly and spend the vast majority of our time in focused, active therapeutic work — processing what needs to be processed, without the artificial constraint of the clock.
Some people achieve in a single intensive what might otherwise take months of weekly sessions. That's not a promise — healing isn't linear — but it reflects what concentrated therapeutic work can make possible.
